Abolition Film Society
Date:
February 7–March 14, 2026
Abolition Film Society will facilitate and document a circle of creative exchanges between Assembly artists and incarcerated participants from Parole Prep’s Archive-Based Creative Arts program, resulting in multiple short screenplays written by the incarcerated participants, a single short film incorporating elements from all screenplays produced by the youths, and an installation as a living archive of the project as it unfolds.
Project and programming details will be announced in late January.
